What hardware does an ATS server need?
Very little. A small private convoy runs on about 2GB of RAM, and even a big crew with heavy map mods rarely needs more than 6GB:

Convoy slots and server setup
SCS Software added dedicated servers to Convoy in December 2022, for ATS and ETS2 alike. Convoy servers can take up to 128 drivers, but several hosts cap their ATS plans at eight, including Host Havoc and G-Portal; GTX Gaming sells up to 128 slots. Settings live in server_config.sii, and the map and mod data are exported from your own copy of the game as server packages; most hosts walk you through this.
Every driver needs the same map DLC and mods as the server, so agree a mod list before your first event and back up before you change it.
