🇬🇧 UK GUIDE · UPDATED AUGUST 2026

Best Assetto Corsa Hosting UK 2026

Assetto Corsa EVO now has its own self-hosted dedicated server tool, but this guide covers the original 2014 Assetto Corsa — the game behind years of UK leagues, drift servers, touge communities and heavily modded racing grids. We re-checked the market carefully because several hosting pages that appear in searches actually sell Competizione or EVO rather than the original game.

Our Assetto Corsa hosting shortlist

This is a much thinner market than it first appears. We only rank providers where we can currently verify a product for the original Assetto Corsa rather than Assetto Corsa Competizione or Assetto Corsa EVO.

Original Assetto Corsa, Competizione and EVO are different hosting markets

This page covers the original Assetto Corsa released in 2014. Its multiplayer ecosystem has been established for years and includes the official dedicated server, Assetto Corsa Server Manager, Content Manager workflows and community infrastructure built around custom cars, tracks and championships.

Assetto Corsa Competizione is a separate game with different server software and its own hosting products. Assetto Corsa EVO is separate again. EVO only gained freely self-hostable dedicated servers with its 0.6 update in 2026, distributed through Steam’s Tools section.

Why this distinction matters: several providers that appear when you search for “Assetto Corsa hosting” currently sell Competizione or EVO rather than the original game. We do not count those as confirmed original-AC hosts on this page.

If you’re building an original Assetto Corsa league, Shutoko server, drift community or modded freeroam server, confirm that the provider explicitly supports the 2014 game before ordering.

Best Assetto Corsa hosts, ranked

Modding support matters unusually much here. A cheap vanilla server is easy to run; a useful Assetto Corsa host needs to make custom cars, tracks, championship management and community tools manageable without turning every update into an FTP project.

1
GTX Gaming Gold Pick
ACSM · Content Manager · 600+ Assetto Corsa servers
From £3.68/mo Current UK store starting price
600+ servers hosted ACSM built in London 24h refund

GTX Gaming is the easiest #1 decision on this page because its advantage isn’t simply price. The company says it currently hosts more than 600 Assetto Corsa servers and has clearly built its panel around the way the AC community actually uses the game.

Assetto Corsa Server Manager is integrated directly into the platform, alongside Content Manager support, AI Traffic Mod functionality, custom races, championships, scheduled events and tools for uploading tracks, cars, skins and weather. Those are not generic hosting features with an Assetto Corsa logo placed over them; they’re genuinely relevant to running a serious AC community.

London is available as a server location, offsite backups can be scheduled and GTX supports the full custom-map and mod ecosystem. The only real weakness is the 24-hour refund window, which gives you less time to test a complicated mod stack than the longer trial periods we see from some hosts on other games.

GTX’s AC-specific tooling is what seals #1. Plenty of servers can technically run Assetto Corsa. Far fewer make ACSM, Content Manager, custom content and AI-traffic workflows this straightforward.
Pros
  • ✓ 600+ Assetto Corsa servers currently hosted
  • ✓ Assetto Corsa Server Manager integration
  • ✓ Content Manager integration
  • ✓ AI Traffic Mod support
  • ✓ London server location
  • ✓ Offsite backups
Cons
  • ✗ 24-hour refund window is relatively short
  • ✗ Hardware varies by location and tier, so check the configured package
2
Godlike Host Silver Pick
8GB · Trial/demo · SFTP · Mod installer
$12.99/mo 8GB · first two months
8GB Trial/demo 3 backups/day 10 locations

Godlike Host earns #2 after our re-check because it now has a clearly identifiable product for the original Assetto Corsa rather than one of the newer games carrying the same brand name.

Its current Assetto Corsa page advertises an 8GB configuration at $12.99 per month for the first two months, alongside full SFTP access, a built-in mod and plugin installer, ten server locations and up to three free backups per day.

The trial/demo option is particularly useful for a mod-heavy sim. You can verify your custom cars, tracks and server configuration before deciding whether the panel and performance suit the league rather than moving everything after payment and discovering an incompatibility later.

Pros
  • ✓ Confirmed original Assetto Corsa hosting
  • ✓ 8GB promotional tier
  • ✓ Free trial/demo advertised
  • ✓ Full SFTP access
  • ✓ Mod/plugin installer
  • ✓ Up to three free backups per day
Cons
  • ✗ Product page exposes USD rather than a clean GBP price
  • ✗ Promotional $12.99 rate is stated for the first two months
  • ✗ Less Assetto Corsa-specific panel tooling than GTX
3
GGServers Bronze Pick
RAM-based tiers · Unlimited slots · Full mod support
From $6/mo 2GB entry · $12/mo 4GB mod tier
$12 4GB mod tier Unlimited slots 24/7 live chat

GGServers takes #3 because its pricing structure is unusually transparent. The current Assetto Corsa product starts at $6 per month for 2GB, moves to $9 for 3GB and $12 for 4GB, with GGServers explicitly marking 4GB as the minimum tier for mods.

Every tier includes unlimited player slots, so capacity is controlled by what the server can realistically handle rather than an arbitrary slot counter. Full FTP access, automated backups, a mod installer and 24/7 live chat are included across the Assetto Corsa product.

For most modded communities we’d skip the 2GB teaser package and compare from the $12 4GB tier upward. A heavier freeroam server with large custom tracks and car packs may justify 6GB or more.

Pros
  • ✓ Clear RAM-based pricing
  • ✓ Unlimited player slots
  • ✓ Full mod support
  • ✓ Automated backups
  • ✓ Full FTP access
  • ✓ 24/7 live chat
Cons
  • ✗ 2GB entry tier is too small for the modded setups many AC communities actually run
  • ✗ Pricing increases quickly on the larger RAM tiers
  • ✗ No GBP pricing exposed on the current product page

Every confirmed original Assetto Corsa host compared

We’d rather show three providers we can genuinely verify than pad the list with hosting pages for Assetto Corsa Competizione or EVO.

2
Godlike Host
8GB · Trial/demo · SFTP
Best resource value

Confirmed original-AC product with an 8GB promotional tier, ten locations, mod support, full SFTP and up to three free backups per day.

3
GGServers
RAM tiers · Unlimited slots
Flexible scaling

Starts at 2GB, with the $12 4GB package explicitly marked as the minimum for mods. Unlimited player slots, FTP, automated backups and mod installation are included.

Providers deliberately not ranked: the current Nitrado and G-Portal products we could verify are for Assetto Corsa Competizione. LOW.MS and 4NetPlayers currently advertise Assetto Corsa EVO. DatHost and Indifferent Broccoli could not be verified as currently selling the original Assetto Corsa. We therefore leave them out rather than mixing three different games into one comparison.

Hosting Assetto Corsa on a budget

GTX Gaming is the easiest budget recommendation because its current UK store starts at £3.68/mo and you aren’t giving up the Assetto Corsa-specific management features that make a rented server worthwhile in the first place.

GGServers technically starts at only $6/mo, but that’s a 2GB package. For a modded community its own product page recommends moving to at least the 4GB tier at $12/mo.

For Assetto Corsa, cheap hosting is genuinely viable. The dedicated server itself is lightweight. Your real cost drivers are usually mod storage, larger grids and whether you want polished management tooling rather than raw RAM.

What hardware does Assetto Corsa actually need?

The original Assetto Corsa dedicated server is genuinely lightweight compared with most games on this site. A normal race server needs surprisingly little RAM, although large mod packs and heavy freeroam configurations change the picture.

Setup Typical grid RAM guidance Typical use
Small friend group 4–8 2GB Vanilla cars and tracks, light custom content
Full grid 8–24 4GB League racing with moderate custom cars and tracks
Heavy modded community Large / variable 5GB+ Large car packs, custom tracks, freeroam and AI traffic
The official dedicated server is designed around Windows. If you’re self-hosting on Linux, validate the current Wine or Proton workflow yourself. Managed providers handle the operating-system layer for you, so this normally isn’t something renters need to think about.
Confirm custom-content support before paying. Assetto Corsa’s modding scene is central to the game, so ACSM, Content Manager compatibility, FTP access and custom track/car uploads matter far more here than they do on many other dedicated servers.

Assetto Corsa hosting, answered

This page covers the original Assetto Corsa released in 2014. Assetto Corsa Competizione and Assetto Corsa EVO are separate games using different dedicated-server software and therefore have different hosting products.
Around 2GB RAM is enough for a small friend group, roughly 4GB is comfortable for a full grid with moderate custom content, and 5GB or more gives useful headroom for heavier mod packs, large custom tracks and freeroam setups.
Yes, provided the host gives you the required file access and mod support. Assetto Corsa communities commonly use custom tracks, cars, skins and weather. GTX Gaming specifically advertises Content Manager integration, ACSM and tools for uploading custom content.
No. EVO is a newer, separate game. Update 0.6 introduced its own self-hostable dedicated-server tool in 2026. A provider selling Assetto Corsa EVO hosting should not automatically be treated as an original Assetto Corsa host.
The current products we could verify from Nitrado and G-Portal are for Assetto Corsa Competizione rather than the original Assetto Corsa. We therefore leave them out instead of mixing products for different games into one ranking.
