Squad’s MaxPlayers tops out at 100, and the map, vehicle count and Workshop mods decide how much memory you need:

Licensed servers and the server browser
To appear in Squad’s main server browser you apply to Offworld Industries for a server licence as the owner, and a licensed server must follow Offworld’s licensing rules. Unlicensed servers still run, and players find them in the Custom Servers tab. Our Squad server requirements guide explains the RAM, CPU and TPS rules that come with a licence. Ports, Layers.cfg and admins
Squad uses three main ports, which a host opens for you:
