How we compared HumanitZ server hosts
We compared each host’s live HumanitZ product on what matters for a persistent zombie-survival world: enough memory for AI and bases, a London or nearby location, backups you can restore before a wipe, flexible billing, refund terms and the regular price. Hosts without a live HumanitZ product were left out. Prices come from each host’s public plan page, converted at £1 = $1.33. Our full process is on how we compare.
The 21 best HumanitZ server hosts, reviewed
Each review covers the plan that suits a HumanitZ group, what it costs and the detail that decides whether it fits your world.

Indifferent Broccoli
Indifferent Broccoli prices HumanitZ by player count and leaves the RAM pool uncapped, so a growing base never runs into a memory tier. Four players cost £7.51/mo ($9.99) a month, six £9.77/mo ($12.99) and eight £12.02/mo ($15.99); there is a one-player tier at £4.50/mo ($5.99) if you only want to test.
A two-day trial without a card comes before you pay, and a seven-day refund applies after. Full file access for GameServerSettings.ini and a Discord management bot are included. Its locations are in mainland Europe.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Indifferent Broccoli review.
- Uncapped RAM
- 2-day free trial
- 7-day refund
- No London location shown

Host Havoc
Host Havoc runs HumanitZ in London from £11.28/mo ($15.00) a month for eight slots, with 16 and 24 slots for PvP communities. It owns its hardware and uses NVMe storage with up to 10Gbps uplinks.
Its panel includes file access, logs, offsite backups and easy restores, which matters while groups decide whether to wipe for 1.1. It costs more than the rest of the top four, but it is the most complete London option.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Host Havoc review.
- London
- Offsite backups

Its world-management tool backs up and restores saves and lets you download them to your PC, with backups stored offsite. You can upgrade slots, memory and CPU priority later, and a 24-hour refund applies.

HumanitZ 1.1: back up, then consider a wipe
Update 1.1 reached the default branch on 19 October 2026 after an Experimental phase that began on 27 August. It adds community outposts, more world simulation and recruitable NPCs; recruitment works in single-player and locally hosted games, not on dedicated servers.
New saves are not required, but the developers strongly recommend a full wipe on dedicated servers so server-side changes do not clash with old assets, and every official server was wiped. If you were on Experimental, switch back to the default branch. Hotfixes 1.1A and 1.1B followed on 20 and 23 October, and each needs a server restart. Take a backup before every update; GTX Gaming and Host Havoc both let you download or restore saves easily.
How much RAM does a HumanitZ server need?
HumanitZ supports up to 24 players. Memory use grows with the size of the save and the AI active around bases, so a 4GB plan is fine for a fresh small world but tight for a long-running one:
| Group | Players | Sensible RAM |
|---|---|---|
| Small private group | 2–4 | 4–6GB |
| Regular group | 4–8 | 8GB |
| Busy community | 8–16 | 8–12GB |
| Full PvP server | 16–24 | 12GB+ |
Kinetic Hosting’s 8GB plan is the cheapest way to that target, and Indifferent Broccoli removes the question by not capping RAM. Our hardware requirements guide covers CPU and storage too.
Mods: treat one-click claims with care
HumanitZ’s developers still describe mods as unsupported and used at your own risk. Some hosts advertise Workshop or one-click mod support anyway, so do not let that decide your purchase. Full file access and reliable backups are more useful today.
