Pine Hosting is one of the strongest UK-native providers left outside our library. It is an England-registered company with a live UK game-hosting node, GBP pricing, a custom Pine Panel, broad support for modern survival games and one of the freshest support reputations we have seen: 4.9/5 from 1,077 Trustpilot reviews, with 763 in the last year. Minecraft starts at £2.50 per month, while larger games such as Rust and Palworld start around £13.99. The main weaknesses are not the customer experience but transparency details: Pine does not publish a clean CPU matrix for every shared-game plan, and its 48-hour money-back policy requires a reason, applies only to the first eligible monthly order and excludes cryptocurrency payments.

Pine Hosting LTD is registered in England and Wales, and the provider’s status infrastructure currently includes an active UK-02 node that has been monitored since 2023. The public status page shows that node responding essentially locally from its London monitoring point, although Pine does not publicly label every game checkout location with a specific street address or city.

That distinction is important. We are comfortable calling Pine a genuine UK game-hosting provider and confirming an active UK node. We are not going to invent a London data-centre claim if Pine’s retail checkout does not explicitly attach your selected game plan to London. Buyers should use the current location selector or ask support which UK facility will host their exact order.

For a UK-focused site, the combination of GBP pricing, a British company, a live UK node and support aimed directly at game-server customers is far more relevant than a global host that merely has a Frankfurt location and a .co.uk landing page.

Pine’s current platform is not just stock billing around an off-the-shelf panel. The site and knowledge base describe a custom Pine Panel with sub-user management, advanced scheduling, file manager, FTP, easy config tools, backups, automatic updates, Workshop installation, plugin installation, player statistics and MySQL database support.

The knowledge base is unusually practical. There are current guides for server power controls, migrations, upgrades, location changes and Minecraft recovery workflows. That matters because a custom panel is only an advantage if customers can actually understand it when something breaks.

Pine also offers free migration from a previous host. The migration process can use FTP details, uploaded files or a temporary sub-user account on the old provider. That is a small operational feature, but it lowers the risk of moving an established community and tells us the support team expects to handle real server administration rather than only billing tickets.

The current game store includes Minecraft, Rust, Palworld, Project Zomboid, 7 Days to Die, ARK, Satisfactory, Valheim, Terraria, GMod, FiveM, Enshrouded, Soulmask, Unturned and newer titles such as Hytale and Windrose.

Minecraft currently starts at £2.50 per month. GMod and Terraria also start around £2.50, Valheim and Factorio around £5, Project Zomboid and 7 Days to Die around £9.99, and Rust or Palworld around £13.99. We would still compare the exact resources behind each game-specific starting price. A £2.50 Minecraft server is not automatically good value if it is undersized for your modpack, and Pine’s public store is better at showing starting cost and features than at giving a single transparent table of CPU allocation across every game.

Pine sells its own dedicated inventory and publishes exact machines there, ranging from older Intel and Ryzen systems to newer Ryzen 7 9700X, Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X-class servers. That proves the provider is comfortable publishing real hardware when the product is dedicated.

The shared game-hosting pages are less specific. Pine says it uses latest-generation hardware and actively updates machines, but we could not verify a universal rule that a particular £2.50 or £13.99 shared plan always maps to a named physical CPU model. That is why the hardware score is lower than the panel and support scores.

For small private servers this may not matter. For a high-player Minecraft network or CPU-heavy Rust instance, we would ask support which CPU family applies in the chosen location before ordering. A provider with Pine’s reputation should be able to answer that clearly.

Pine advertises easy backups and its Minecraft knowledge base demonstrates a practical restore workflow around server reinstalls. Full file access, FTP, plugin installers and Workshop tools are also part of the platform feature set.

That matters most when modifying servers. One-click installers are convenient, but modded Minecraft, ARK or Project Zomboid communities eventually need direct files, manual config changes and a way back after a broken update. Pine gives both the automation layer and the underlying access.

Free migrations are another meaningful advantage. Moving a long-running world is often more stressful than choosing the new host. Pine explicitly offers to handle that transfer, which is more valuable than another decorative ‘instant setup’ badge for established communities.

Pine’s homepage advertises 99.99% uptime as a platform feature. Unlike many hosts, Pine also exposes long-running node monitors publicly, which gives us something more useful than a slogan.

The UK-02 monitor showed about 99.9837% uptime for 2026 at our audit and roughly 99.9744% total measured uptime on that monitor. Those are strong numbers, but 99.9837% is still mathematically below a literal 99.99% annual target.

We actually give Pine credit for publishing the status evidence. The right conclusion is not that the service is unreliable, but that the 99.99% headline should not be interpreted as every node always achieving 99.99% in every reporting window. Public measurement is more valuable than perfect marketing copy.

Pine offers a 48-hour money-back guarantee to newly registered clients on their first eligible hosting order, but the Terms add several catches. The request needs probable cause, non-monthly terms are non-refundable, add-ons and domains are excluded, and CoinGate or cryptocurrency payments are not refundable.

Cancellation itself is flexible. Customers can submit cancellation through the billing area and Pine says clients are not normally locked into contracts. The main issue is that the refund headline sounds broader than the actual eligibility language.

We do not consider 48 hours unacceptable, but it is weaker than a clean no-questions-asked 72-hour or 14-day policy. UK buyers should also note that hosting policy terms do not replace statutory consumer rights where those rights apply.

A thousand old reviews can hide a declining service, but more than seven hundred recent reviews tell us the support operation is active right now. That is especially relevant for game hosting because the hardest problems are rarely ‘server is offline’. They are usually plugin conflicts, corrupt worlds, version mismatches and configuration mistakes.

We still treat Trustpilot as a community signal rather than laboratory proof. But among providers of this size, Pine’s current support evidence is one of the strongest we have audited.
