Best Enshrouded Server Hosting UK (Nov 2026)
Enshrouded 1.0 supports dedicated worlds for up to 16 players, and Keen Games says the server uses about 4.4GB of RAM at idle and no more than 6GB in total. So a 6–8GB plan covers almost any group, and location, backups and the price of the slots you actually need decide the rest. We compared 53 hosts on exactly that.
Quick verdict: LOW.MS is the best Enshrouded host, with 10GB RAM and London from £3.95/mo ($5.25). Indifferent Broccoli is the easiest start, with a 2-day free trial and no RAM cap. Host Havoc is the premium London choice for support and restores.

How we compared Enshrouded server hosts
We compared each host’s live Enshrouded product on what matters for a persistent 16-player world: RAM against Keen Games’ own figures, location, backups and restores, refund terms and the price of the slots you need. Prices come from each host’s public plan page, converted at £1 = $1.33. Our full process is on the how we compare game server hosts page, and the work is signed by Linus Pierre.
The 53 best Enshrouded server hosts, reviewed
Each review covers the plan that suits a small group, what it costs and the trade-off that decides whether it suits your world.
LOW.MS
LOW.MS offers Enshrouded hosting from £3.95/mo ($5.25) for four player slots, with 10GB RAM included as standard and slot counts up to the game’s 16-player cap. That is generous headroom against Keen Games’ own figure of about 4.4GB at idle and no more than 6GB in total.
Cloud Backup and Cloud Restore, SFTP, scheduled tasks, configuration tools, DDoS protection and free migration are included. Servers run in London, Amsterdam, Nuremberg, Helsinki and Warsaw. The combination of price, memory headroom, recovery tooling and a London location makes this our strongest current value shortlist option.
At the recorded £3.95 ($5.25) entry price, the attraction is unusually strong memory headroom combined with backup and migration tooling. Four slots are enough for a small group but not a full 16-player community. UK groups can pick London for the lowest ping.
LOW.MS lists Enshrouded 1.0 servers for both PC and PS5. The game has no crossplay, so each server runs one platform.
Our LOW.MS Enshrouded review goes deeper on the Enshrouded plans and panel, and the full LOW.MS review covers support, billing and other games.
- 10GB RAM for only £3.95 ($5.25)
- London location
- Cloud backup and restore
- Excellent Enshrouded-specific value
- Five-day money-back guarantee
- The cheapest visible package is only four slots
Indifferent Broccoli
Indifferent Broccoli prices Enshrouded by player count rather than memory. One player is £4.50 ($5.99), four cost £7.51 ($9.99), six cost £9.77 ($12.99), eight cost £12.02 ($15.99) and a full 16-player server is £15.78 ($20.99). Every plan uses the provider’s uncapped-RAM model.
Indifferent Broccoli is our #2 choice because its two-day no-card trial, human support, full file access and player-based pricing simplify the first decision. Its advertised Germany region is useful for many European groups, although London is not confirmed. LOW.MS still wins on four-player price and clearly stated 10GB allocation. At eight slots, Indifferent costs £12.02 per month ($15.99), so choose it for the trial and straightforward scaling rather than the absolute lowest bill.
Uncapped-memory marketing removes the need to pick a RAM tier, and its short trial is useful for evaluating fit. It costs more than some fixed-RAM alternatives at eight players; weigh simplicity and trial terms against monthly spend.
Indifferent Broccoli now sells separate PC and PS5 Enshrouded servers, since 1.0 has no crossplay.
Our Indifferent Broccoli Enshrouded review goes deeper on the Enshrouded plans and panel, and the full Indifferent Broccoli review covers support, billing and other games.
- No hard RAM ceiling
- Two-day trial without a card
- Seven-day refund
- Full file access
- Simple player-based scaling
- £12.02 ($15.99) for eight players is relatively expensive
- No London-specific node
Host Havoc
Host Havoc lists an active Enshrouded server product in its UK storefront. Its October 2026 comparison says 8 GB is included in each plan, with upgrades to 12 GB or 16 GB. The company advertises owned Xeon/Ryzen hardware, NVMe storage and offsite backups.
TCAdmin includes web console, file manager, logs, offsite backups and data restore. The page’s self-hosting RAM discussion mixes machine-level requirements with managed process needs and should not be treated as a hosting-plan rule. Keen Games’ own process FAQ is much more useful for that comparison.
Its managed infrastructure, backup options and restore tools may justify the higher cost for groups that value support and simple administration. Since memory allocations can differ between plans, compare the exact RAM shown for your selected Enshrouded configuration.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Host Havoc review.
- Confirmed London location
- Owns physical hardware
- Excellent restore tooling
- NVMe and modern CPU options
- Strong support positioning
- PC only, no PS5 servers
- Four-slot entry is expensive versus LOW.MS
Spill Hosting
Spill Hosting is the strongest small-provider value challenger. Its 6GB Enshrouded plan costs £7.52 ($10) a month at the normal rate, with 8GB at £9.02 ($12) and 10GB at £10.53 ($14). Keen Games says the dedicated process should not use more than roughly 6GB physical RAM, making this an unusually direct resource match.
The package also includes Ryzen 9 hardware, 25GB NVMe storage, DDoS protection, free backups and scheduled restarts. While 6GB offers a reasonable starting point against the older server-process guidance, the 8GB tier is worth considering for extra headroom, particularly when several players build and explore simultaneously.
The 6GB plan tells you exactly how much memory you get. Budget £7.52 a month, and step up to 8GB (£9.02) if you want more breathing room. There is no UK location: the closest is Falkenstein in Germany, so pick that one if most of your group plays from the UK.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Spill Hosting review.
- £7.52 a month for 6GB
- Ryzen 9 hardware
- Clear RAM ladder
- Free backups
- Simple upgrade path
- No UK location (closest is Falkenstein, Germany)
- Smaller provider footprint than LOW.MS or Kinetic
GHOSTCAP
GHOSTCAP starts Enshrouded at £6.76 ($8.99) for 8GB and scales in clean two-gigabyte steps all the way to 40GB. All current plans advertise Ryzen 9 9950X hardware, NVMe, a full control panel and large-scale DDoS mitigation. Germany and Poland are the European locations.
Automatic backups and full FTP access make GHOSTCAP convenient for managing long-running worlds. However, Enshrouded supports up to 16 players, regardless of broader slot claims in hosting advertisements. Likewise, community or host-side mod tools should not be confused with official game mod support.
Its clear 8GB starting allocation and Ryzen hardware are compelling on paper, while backup and FTP access cover the practical needs of a persistent world. Germany and Poland may be suitable for some UK players, but that is not equivalent to a confirmed London node.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full GHOSTCAP review.
- 8GB for £6.76 ($8.99)
- Ryzen 9950X hardware
- Automatic backups and FTP
- Excellent RAM transparency
- Strong DDoS platform
- No London location
- Player/mod marketing needs game-specific qualification
EUGameHost
EUGameHost’s Basic package is £8.73 per month for up to eight players and 16GB DDR4, with a 24GB full-group package at £15.00. London is explicitly available, alongside automatic backups, FTP/SFTP, 10Gbps networking and Intel 4GHz-plus CPU positioning.
Sixteen gigabytes is far more memory than Keen Games says the dedicated process should consume, so we do not rank it highly because of the huge number alone. We still like the combination of a reasonable bill, confirmed London availability, included backups and a 48-hour refund if it does not suit your group.
This is worth shortlisting when London location and more memory headroom matter. Sixteen gigabytes should be viewed as a generous package allocation, not proof that the Enshrouded process requires that much memory. Compare its eight-player tier against the actual size of your group.
- Confirmed London location
- 16GB for £8.73
- Automatic backups
- Full FTP/SFTP
- 48-hour refund
- RAM allocation is far beyond normal process needs
- Mod-ready marketing goes beyond Keen Games’ current official support stance
4NetPlayers
4NetPlayers offers 10 Enshrouded player slots for £14.09 per month ($18.74).
NVMe, automatic backups, FTP, task scheduling, automatic updates and free game switching are included. The missing data point is RAM. Since Keen Games publishes unusually specific process-memory figures, a public allocation would make this much easier to compare against LOW.MS and Kinetic.
Its per-slot pricing is straightforward and London is listed, making it attractive for groups wanting ten slots rather than a tiny four-slot starter. The trade-off is undisclosed RAM; ask about the allocated memory and restore options if your world is large.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full 4NetPlayers review.
- Ten slots for £14.09 ($18.74)
- London location
- Ten-player package
- Automatic backups and FTP
- Large worldwide network
- RAM allocation not public
LogicServers
LogicServers offers flexible Enshrouded hosting at £3.89 ($5.17) for four slots, £7.31 ($9.73) for eight and £11.92 ($15.87) for 16, excluding VAT. The eight-slot option is a practical middle ground for a regular co-op group, while the four-slot package is better suited to a smaller party.
London, Stockholm and Frankfurt are available, with TCAdmin, full FTP, backup/restore, configuration editing, command-line controls and one-click updating. The main weakness is unchanged: the public product still does not give us a clean RAM allocation.
The familiar control panel, FTP and location options offer a practical managed-host package. Because prices exclude VAT and RAM is not public, compare its final checkout bill against providers that publish specific memory allocations.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full LogicServers review.
- Low eight-slot price
- London and Stockholm
- Full FTP and backup/restore
- Mature Enshrouded panel
- Flexible 4-16 slot ladder
- Prices exclude VAT
- RAM allocation is not public
Gaming Deluxe
Gaming Deluxe advertises Enshrouded hosting from £4.32 per month, with London, Paris and Frankfurt among its server locations. Its platform also offers high-clock CPUs, NVMe storage, DDR5 memory and DDoS protection. The £4.32 plan includes four player slots and 5GB RAM; eight slots with 8GB cost £10.59 ($14.08) and 12 slots with 12GB cost £17.55 ($23.34).
Seven days of automatic offsite backups is particularly useful because Enshrouded world progression is server-side. The 5GB entry plan covers Keen Games’ idle figure plus a party of four, but it has half the memory of LOW.MS’s 10GB plan.
The low GBP starting price and offsite backups are attractive, especially for a UK audience. The 5GB entry plan suits a small party; groups of eight should budget for the 8GB plan.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Gaming Deluxe review.
- Very low native GBP price
- London location
- Seven days of offsite backups
- High-clock CPU positioning
- NVMe
- 5GB entry plan has less headroom than LOW.MS
- Eight slots cost £10.59 ($14.08)
GTX Gaming
GTX Gaming advertises Enshrouded servers from £6.29 per month ($8.37), with locations including London, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Madrid. The service also offers premium Ryzen CPU options, automated backups and round-the-clock support. For UK groups, the combination of location choice and established server management is the main appeal.
The entry plan includes up to 5GB, which suits a small group; larger worlds should step up to a bigger plan. GTX remains particularly appealing to buyers who value a mature control panel and several nearby locations.
Its UK/EU region coverage and management platform may outweigh raw RAM value for some buyers. The starting offer is slot-based and lower-tier memory can be constrained; check the exact RAM tied to your selected player count.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full GTX Gaming review.
- £6.29 ($8.37) starting price
- London and Amsterdam
- Premium Ryzen options
- Automatic backups
- Established provider
- Entry plan tops out at 5GB
- Generic mod/map marketing needs qualification
PingPerfect
PingPerfect’s eight-slot Enshrouded server costs £10.17 per month ($13.52) and publishes the resources behind it: 9GB RAM, normal 4.5GHz-class hardware and roughly 100GB NVMe. That transparency alone makes it easier to recommend than many cheaper slot hosts.
Nightly backups, DDoS mitigation, 21 locations and a 48-hour free trial are included. The 16-slot plan becomes expensive at £32.27 ($42.92) for 12GB, so PingPerfect is much more compelling for an eight-player group than a max-size community.
The eight-slot 9GB package is a reasonably interpretable offer because the memory allowance is disclosed. A full 16-player server is substantially more expensive, so it is strongest for a mid-sized group rather than a maximum-size community.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full PingPerfect review.
- 9GB publicly disclosed
- Reasonable eight-slot price
- Large NVMe allowance
- Nightly backups
- 48-hour free trial
- 16-slot pricing jumps dramatically
- No specific London location confirmed in the available product information
AleForge
AleForge publishes 4GB at £6.01 ($7.99), 5GB at £7.51 ($9.99) and 6GB at £9.02 ($11.99) on its Standard line. Because the official server process idles around 4.4GB and can climb toward 6GB, we compare the 6GB Standard tier rather than rewarding a starter that sits below the idle figure.
The 6GB tier also provides 60GB NVMe storage and four user backups, with larger configurations available. Meanwhile, any advertised mod-management features should be considered separately from official Enshrouded mod support.
A transparent RAM ladder makes plan sizing more meaningful than a bare player-count headline. The 6GB plan is the more defensible reference than the cheaper 4GB option, although final value depends on the exact performance tier and game-region choice.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full AleForge review.
- Clear 6GB tier
- 60GB NVMe
- Backups included
- Good resource transparency
- Easy scaling
- 6GB costs more than LOW.MS 10GB
- 4GB headline plan is below current idle-process guidance
Nitrado
Nitrado’s current Enshrouded offers include six slots at £6.99 ($9.30), eight at £9.29 ($12.36) and 16 at £15.13 ($20.12) for 30 days. London and Frankfurt are available, with runtime and slot count adjustable through the familiar Nitrado platform.
Automated backups and broad location choice are useful, but RAM is not published for the Enshrouded package. We use the eight-player tier as a normal-group reference, leaving the six-slot plan available for smaller teams.
Nitrado is primarily a convenience choice: familiar panel controls, slot-based purchasing and established locations. RAM remains less transparent than on memory-priced services, which limits direct comparison.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Nitrado review.
- London location
- Clear slot pricing
- Automated backups
- Flexible 4-16 slot configuration
- Established platform
- RAM allocation not public
- Not as cheap as current LOW.MS/Kinetic alternatives
DatHost
DatHost sells a single Enshrouded plan instead of a ladder of RAM tiers: 16 player slots, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, a Ryzen 9 7950X-class CPU and 60GB of NVMe SSD storage for £12.45 a month ($16.56). Paying for six months brings it down to £7.44 a month ($9.90), and a yearly plan to £5.77 a month ($7.67).
You can put the server in London, and move it to another location later if your group changes. Automatic updates, daily backups and DDoS protection come with every server, and there is a 14-day money-back guarantee if it does not suit you.
16GB is far more memory than Enshrouded needs for a small group, so you are paying for a full 16-player world from day one. It makes sense if your group is large, growing or you never want to think about upgrading. For four friends on a monthly plan, cheaper hosts above cover you for less.
DatHost also lets you switch a server between PC (Steam) and PS5 in its settings, keeping the world on the server. Mods are not supported on PS5 servers.
Our DatHost Enshrouded review goes deeper on the Enshrouded plans and panel, and the full DatHost review covers support, billing and other games.
- Full 16 slots and 16GB DDR5 in one plan
- London location
- 60GB NVMe SSD included
- Automatic updates and daily backups
- 14-day money-back guarantee
- No smaller, cheaper plan for small groups
- Monthly price is high unless you pay for six or twelve months
Kinetic Hosting
Kinetic technically starts at £3.75 ($4.99) for 4GB, but we do not use that as the comparison tier. Keen Games says the Enshrouded server process alone idles around 4.4GB, so the Kinetic plan to pick is 8GB at £6.01 ($7.99). That still works out extremely well against most of the market.
The package uses NVMe, eight CPU threads and hardware advertised up to Ryzen 9 9950X at 5.7GHz, with five backup slots, SFTP, scheduled tasks and no artificial provider-side player cap. Enshrouded itself still caps the server at 16 players. A seven-day refund and easy RAM upgrades make Kinetic the cleanest alternative if LOW.MS is unavailable.
The advertised 4GB entry is cheaper but is not the sensible comparison to Keen Games’ pre-1.0 published server-memory observations. The 8GB plan is the one to compare, with explicit memory and backups. Confirm the game-specific region and recurring total during ordering.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Kinetic Hosting review.
- 8GB for only £6.01 ($7.99)
- Excellent hardware transparency
- Five backups plus SFTP
- Easy upgrade path
- Seven-day refund
- 4GB starter is below Keen Games’ stated idle server-process usage
- LOW.MS currently gives more RAM for less money
RespawnHost
RespawnHost’s prepaid Enshrouded plans start at £6.68 per month ($8.88) for 4GB, and the 6GB plan costs £10.02 ($13.33), which is a technically sensible match to Keen Games’ stated server-process ceiling. Its alternative pay-per-use model bills only while the server runs, making it attractive for groups that meet a few evenings each week.
The provider maintains detailed 2026 Enshrouded documentation covering `enshrouded_server.json`, save transfer and server setup. Frankfurt is the European region. It is not a raw price winner on fixed monthly hosting, but the billing model gives it a niche no conventional host can match.
Pay-per-use changes the economics for a group that only meets occasionally. Calculate your expected monthly running hours rather than comparing a usage-based service with an always-on subscription by headline price alone.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full RespawnHost review.
- 6GB matches official process guidance
- Unique usage-based billing
- Strong current documentation
- SFTP/file control
- Frankfurt location
- Fixed monthly plan is not cheap
- No London location
BisectHosting
BisectHosting runs its Enshrouded product through BisectOne, with 21 advertised locations, NVMe storage, DDoS protection, game switching, three days of backups and Instance Manager. These features make it a strong option for players who prioritise straightforward administration.
Plans start at £9.02 per month ($11.99) for 4GB, enough for one to five players, and the price rises with each extra GB of RAM you add.
Its management interface, game switching and backups are the main reasons to consider it. Pricing rises with each GB, so price the RAM your group needs before comparing overall value.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full BisectHosting review.
- Excellent control panel
- Three days of backups
- 21 locations
- NVMe
- 24/7 support
- 4GB entry plan sits below the 4.4GB idle figure
- Costs more per GB than LOW.MS and Kinetic
Wabbanode
Wabbanode advertises Enshrouded hosting from £8.96 per month ($11.92) and lists London, Germany, France and Finland among its locations. In addition, its Enshrouded documentation covers difficulty settings, enemy behaviour, resource production, day/night configuration and beta branches.
The live configurator uses generic RAM-to-player estimates that can exceed Enshrouded’s real 16-player limit. The provider correctly notes that Enshrouded does not currently have official mod/Workshop support, which is a nice contrast to many competitors.
Its Enshrouded knowledge-base coverage is useful.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Wabbanode review.
- London location
- Strong current Enshrouded documentation
- Honest official-mod-support wording
- Backups and SFTP
- Seven-day refund
- Generic player sizing exceeds the game’s real 16-player cap
Blue Fang Solutions
Blue Fang Solutions currently lists Enshrouded from £12.78 per month ($17.00) for 16 slots. Its network includes London and nearby continental Europe, while the Overseer panel provides web file management, FTP, command-line controls and support add-ons.
The public product does not give us a clean RAM figure tied to the £12.78 ($17.00) starting package, which is a major disadvantage when much cheaper competitors publish 6GB-10GB allocations. The 72-hour refund is useful, but the current value proposition is more about managed service than raw hardware per pound.
The London region and mature panel are the principal benefits. Public RAM data is limited and the starting price is relatively high, so this is best assessed against the exact configured service rather than assumed hardware value.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Blue Fang Solutions review.
- London availability
- Full FTP
- Mature management platform
- 72-hour refund
- Support options
- RAM allocation not public
- Starting price is high versus transparent competitors
Shockbyte
Shockbyte’s regular ladder is £7.51 ($9.99) for up to five players with 4GB, £11.27 ($14.99) for ten and £14.28 ($18.99) for 16. Automatic backups, full file access, scheduled restarts, DDoS protection and a 72-hour self-service refund are included.
Shockbyte offers a mature control panel and straightforward setup, making it appealing to beginners. However, its ten- and 16-player plans cost more than several budget alternatives, so price the plan your whole group needs.
Beginner-friendly management and automation are strengths. Compare the player count and monthly cost of your plan with the cheaper hosts above.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Shockbyte review.
- Polished mainstream platform
- Automatic backups
- Full file access
- 72-hour refund
- Global locations
- £11.27 ($14.99) for ten players costs more than budget rivals
- RAM is only listed for the entry plan
GPORTAL
GPORTAL is the official hosting partner named by Keen Games and sells 4-16 Enshrouded slots. Plans start at £6.60 per 30 days ($8.78) for four slots, with backup storage and automatic update support.
GPORTAL’s relationship with Keen Games is a useful distinction, especially for players who prefer an established managed platform. London and Frankfurt are available, and larger slot counts cost more, so price the slot count your group needs.
Official hosting-partner status is not a substitute for a competitive price. UK buyers can pick London; compare the price for your slot count with the hosts above.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full GPORTAL review.
- Official Keen Games host
- Automatic game updates
- Backup storage
- Simple 4-16 slot model
- Established platform
- RAM allocation is not listed
- Billed per 30 days rather than per calendar month
Apex Hosting
Apex starts Enshrouded at 6GB, which is one of the more technically sensible defaults on the page, but the recurring price is £16.91 ($22.49). Eight gigabytes renews at £21.05 ($27.99) and 16GB at £54.13 ($71.99).
Full FTP, DDoS, automatic backups/updates and 24/7 support are included. The provider’s modpack language is generic and should not be mistaken for official Enshrouded mod support. This is a premium managed service with weak price-per-resource value.
The six-gigabyte baseline is easier to interpret than very small entry tiers, and support is a selling point. The recurring bill is comparatively high.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Apex Hosting review.
- 6GB default makes technical sense
- Strong support platform
- Automatic backups and updates
- Full FTP
- DDoS protection
- £16.91 ($22.49) recurring for 6GB
- Higher tiers are extremely expensive
Nodecraft
Nodecraft offers Lite servers that sleep when unused and Premium servers that remain online continuously. For a technically sensible 6GB allocation, Lite renews at £14.98 ($17.88) while an always-on Premium server renews at £24.98 ($29.98). The 4GB Lite tier costs £9.98 ($11.92) but sits below the official idle-process figure.
The panel, cloud backups, free trial and automated tasks are excellent. Wake & Play can be clever for scheduled groups, but Enshrouded’s main reason for renting a dedicated server is often to keep the world available when the host is offline. For that use case, Premium is simply expensive.
The distinction between Lite and continuously running Premium is material for a persistent world. If the group expects the world to be online all day, use Premium pricing rather than the cheaper sleep-enabled tier.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Nodecraft review.
- Excellent control panel
- Cloud backups
- Free trial
- Useful Wake & Play option
- Wide RAM configurability
- Always-on 6GB Premium is £24.98 ($29.98)
- Lite servers are not continuously online
Citadel Servers
Citadel lists Enshrouded from £22.00 per month ($29.26) and describes support for up to 16 players. The wider platform offers FTP, configuration tools, scheduled backups, NVMe and a broad international network.
At £22 with no public RAM allocation attached to the Enshrouded product, the value is extremely difficult to defend against the top half of this list. Citadel remains a legitimate option for existing customers who like its panel, but it is not competitive enough for a fresh recommendation today.
Its configurable management tooling remains an option for existing customers, but relatively high starting prices and undisclosed resource allocation make it difficult to recommend over more transparent alternatives.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Citadel Servers review.
- Active Enshrouded product
- Management/config tools
- Backup platform
- NVMe
- Supports normal 16-player ceiling
- £22 starting price is very high
- RAM allocation not public

Flux
Flux runs Enshrouded on its decentralised cloud from £5.63/mo ($7.49) for 5GB and three vCores. It lists more than 50 locations worldwide but does not name UK or EU cities on its Enshrouded page.
It suits technical groups happy with a cloud-style setup more than first-time server owners.
- 5GB for a low price
- Many locations
- UK location not listed
- Less hand-holding than game hosts
DoomHosting
DoomHosting offers 6GB Enshrouded servers from £9.87/mo ($13.13) on AMD Ryzen 9 or newer hardware, with locations in Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Poland.
There is no UK location, so it fits Nordic or central European groups better than UK ones.
- 6GB covers a full world
- Modern Ryzen
- No UK location
TickServ
TickServ bills Enshrouded by the hour, at about £0.02 ($0.02) an hour for 4GB on shared vCPU, in Germany, France, Finland and Romania.
Hourly billing suits a weekend session, but a server left on 24/7 costs more over a month than most of the fixed plans above.
- Pay only while it runs
- Shared vCPU
- No UK location
- Expensive if left on
Empower Servers
Empower Servers starts Enshrouded at 8GB for £6.76/mo ($8.99), with no player limit and NVMe storage. That covers Keen Games’ 6GB ceiling with room to spare, and a United Kingdom location sits alongside Canada, the US, Germany, Finland and more.

Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full GGServers review.
- Automated full backups
- RAM up to 32GB
- Expensive for 8GB
Hostinger
Hostinger runs Enshrouded on its Game Panel VPS plans. The 4GB plan renews at £10.99/mo ($14.62) a month on a 24-month term, with free weekly backups and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Keen Games puts the server at 4.4GB idle, so the 8GB plan is the safer fit for a group.
Support, billing and the control panel are covered in our full Hostinger review.
- 30-day money-back
- Free weekly backups
- Long term needed for the listed rate
- 4GB entry is below the idle figure

- Flexible runtime
- Game swap included
- Billed per 30 days, not monthly
Sparked Host
Sparked Host lists Enshrouded from £7.79/mo ($10.36) on a 3GB plan, with a London location. That entry plan is under Keen Games’ 4.4GB idle figure, so pick a larger tier for a real group.

How much RAM an Enshrouded server needs
Keen Games’ dedicated server FAQ puts the server at 4.4GB idle, plus up to 100MB per player, and no more than 6GB in total. The 1.0 update cut memory use for network traffic but gave no new totals.
| Players | Server RAM used | Plans that fit |
|---|---|---|
| 1–4 | 4.4–4.8GB | LOW.MS 4 slots (10GB), Gaming Deluxe 4 slots (5GB), Host Havoc 4 slots (8GB) |
| 5–8 | 4.9–5.2GB | Kinetic 8GB, GHOSTCAP 8GB, Spill Hosting 6GB |
| 9–16 | 5.3–6GB | DatHost 16 slots (16GB), EUGameHost 16GB, LOW.MS with more slots |
| Your own PC | 16GB system RAM | Keen’s figure for the whole machine, including Windows |
The 16GB figure you will see elsewhere is for the whole machine when you host on your own PC, not for a rented server. Our Enshrouded dedicated server requirements guide explains the difference, and our game server hardware guide covers CPU and storage.
Enshrouded 1.0: what changed for servers
Enshrouded 1.0.0.0 left early access on 15 October 2026 with the full Embervale map, Cinder’s Cradle, CPU optimisations, lower memory use for server-client traffic and a new save format. Hotfix 1.0.0.2 on 16 October fixed a crash when fast travelling or gliding into busy areas, and 1.0.0.3 on 21 October fixed several more, so keep your server on the latest build.
- Back up before converting: early access saves still work, but they convert to the new format on first load. Keep an untouched copy first.
- PC or PS5, not both: 1.0 launched on PC and PS5 with no crossplay. LOW.MS, Indifferent Broccoli and DatHost offer PS5 servers; Host Havoc is PC only.
- Check the build: make sure the panel installs the 1.0 dedicated server before your group joins.
Our guide to moving a world to a dedicated server walks through the conversion step by step.
Your world is the part you cannot replace
Enshrouded keeps shared world progress on the server and character progress on each player’s PC. The world saves every five minutes and can approach 100MB, so a host that makes restores easy matters more than one that just says “automatic backups”.
See our Enshrouded backup and restore guide and server settings and roles guide.
LOW.MS vs Indifferent Broccoli for Enshrouded
For a four-player group, LOW.MS gives more clearly stated resources for less money: £3.95/mo ($5.25) with 10GB RAM and a London location. Indifferent Broccoli asks £7.51/mo ($9.99) for four players but adds a 2-day free trial without a card and no RAM cap. If you know four slots is enough, pick LOW.MS. If you want to try a server before paying, start with Indifferent Broccoli.
For bigger groups, compare the real six, eight or 16-player prices rather than scaling up from four. Indifferent Broccoli’s 16-player plan costs £15.78/mo ($20.99), and DatHost’s single plan covers all 16 players with 16GB for £12.45/mo ($16.56). Our full LOW.MS review and full Indifferent Broccoli review cover support and billing.

A London server gives players in Britain a shorter route, so combat and building feel more responsive. Indifferent Broccoli’s nearest regions are Frankfurt, Roubaix and Amsterdam, which are still close enough for most UK groups. If friends cannot see your server, our Enshrouded server not showing guide covers the usual fixes.
Self-hosting vs renting an Enshrouded server
You can run the free Enshrouded Dedicated Server tool from Steam yourself (app ID 2278520; the game is 1203620). Keen Games documents it as a Windows server; Linux hosts run it through a compatibility layer. The config file is enshrouded_server.json, the default queryPort is 15637 and slotCount runs from 1 to 16.
| Self-host | Rented server | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Free if the PC is already on | From £3.89/mo ($5.17) |
| Uptime | Only while your PC runs | 24/7 |
| RAM | Up to 6GB for the server, 16GB for the whole PC | Included in the plan |
| Backups | Manual | Automatic in most panels |
| Ports | Forward queryPort 15637 and Steam’s ports | Handled by the host |
Self-hosting is fine for a quick trial run, but your PC must stay on for friends to play. Our Enshrouded dedicated server setup guide, self-hosting guide and dedicated hosting explainer cover the trade-offs, and our game server security guide covers what to lock down if you open ports at home.
Cheapest Enshrouded server hosting UK
Each host’s cheapest Enshrouded plan, all 54 strictly sorted by lowest monthly price, with hosts that only show a price at checkout, or are out of stock, last. Enshrouded server hosting FAQ
What is the best Enshrouded server hosting?
LOW.MS is our #1, with 10GB RAM, London and cloud backup and restore from £3.95/mo ($5.25) for four slots. Our LOW.MS Enshrouded review covers it in depth.
How much RAM does an Enshrouded server need?
Keen Games’ FAQ puts the server at 4.4GB idle and up to 6GB in total. A 6–8GB plan suits most groups; see our server requirements guide.
Why do some guides say 16GB?
16GB is Keen’s recommendation for the whole PC when you self-host, including Windows. A rented server only needs to cover the game process.
How many players can join an Enshrouded server?
Up to 16. slotCount runs from 1 to 16, whatever a host’s “unlimited slots” label says.
Can PS5 players join an Enshrouded server?
Yes, on a PS5 server. Enshrouded 1.0 has no crossplay, so a server is either PC or PS5. LOW.MS, Indifferent Broccoli and DatHost offer PS5 servers; see our DatHost Enshrouded review.
Has Enshrouded 1.0 launched?
Yes, on 15 October 2026. It changed the save format, cut server-client memory use and improved CPU performance.
Will my early access world work on 1.0?
Yes. Saves convert to the new format on first load. Back up first; our world transfer guide shows how.
What port does an Enshrouded server use?
The official enshrouded_server.json uses queryPort 15637 by default, plus Steam’s usual ports. Our server not showing guide covers connection fixes.
Does Enshrouded support mods?
Not officially. Keen Games says it would like to add mod support but cannot promise it, so host mod tools are community tools.
What is the cheapest Enshrouded server hosting in the UK?
ZAP-Hosting has the lowest entry price at £2.66/mo ($3.54) for its smallest configuration, and CreeperHost’s Eco tier starts at £3.50/mo ($4.65). For a London server, LogicServers lists £3.89/mo ($5.17) for four slots, excluding VAT, and LOW.MS follows at £3.95/mo ($5.25) with 10GB, then Gaming Deluxe at £4.32/mo ($5.75) for four slots with 5GB. See our cheap game server hosting guide.
